Eighty-five years ago, Earth-11 became connected to Yggdrasil, a cosmic tree linking various worlds. Seventy-three years ago, an individual named Icon became Earth's first demigod. As the first, Icon was granted the unique privilege of shaping the destiny of humanity. He was expected to sever Earth-11's connection to Yggdrasil, freeing it from the influence of other Earths and their powerful god kings. To achieve this, the world united to help him ascend the Tower of Destiny.
However, Icon betrayed this trust. Instead of liberating Earth, he twisted mankind's fate into seven Rings of Immortality. These rings granted different forms of immortality: power, knowledge, mind, energy, body, and soul. The seventh ring, the Ring of the Paragon, was designed to control all others. Icon claimed the Ring of the Paragon for himself, establishing a tyrannical dictatorship that endured for many years. His reign was marked by terror, but he was eventually overthrown and vanquished through the combined efforts of the world.
Sixty-two years have passed since Icon's defeat, but his legacy of destruction persists. Earth-11 remains bound to Yggdrasil, and the perilous games within the Tower of Destiny continue. The struggle for the seven Rings of Immortality endures.
Kelvin Thorn, a young man currently fleeing for his life, has just awakened an ability. This newfound power saves him from his immediate danger but comes with a steep price: he must ascend the Tower of Destiny, under the watchful eyes of the entire world, and accumulate destiny, or face death. His predicament is not unique; nearly everyone who awakens an ability is compelled to climb the Tower of Destiny, a curse left behind by Icon.
However, Kelvin is distinct from others. The seventh ring, the Ring of the Paragon, has chosen him. The Tower of Destiny is a battleground where all individuals granted power by destiny—be they human, non-human, or otherworldly—must compete in games of strength, skill, and intellect to gather the power of destiny. Participants either perish or, through their struggles, ultimately overcome death. Kelvin will join billions of others in this ongoing, life-or-death struggle within the Tower.
