Joji's journey eventually takes him to outer space, where he encounters 36 versions of Kars, each originating from a different universe. One of these Kars accompanies him back to Earth. The narrative culminates in a massive fistfight with Dio Brando, who is attempting to become the Holy Corpse and acquire unlimited power.
